so how does online in this game work
do i need to have all my mods turned off? do my mods work on the server? is the server always up/running? i have the debug mode on for that built in cheat menu, is that active on a server? does it prevent me from joining?
i've never even had the urge to play online so i have no idea how any of this works.
edit: more questions i thought of. how does sleeping work? does the entire server have to sleep at the same time? is the in game time different for everyone?

i paid for hosting and it is always running unless something happens to the datacenter it's hosted in
