Pretty much is, but they've essentially just been doing a SUPER shit job.
They added a LARP rifle corp into the game, just photoshopped photos of Jap peasants into the artwork, used a One Piece mall ninja katana as "real authentic Japanese Katana" in their art work, leaving bags of rice in the rain, not knowing that peasants paid their taxes in bags of rice and not in actual currency and more.
They've literally done zero actual research into feudal Japan.
