Ryujinx, a Nintendo Switch emulator, has ceased development. The lead developer was pressured by Nintendo of America into shutting down the project.

My
theory is that the Switch 2's hardware is similar enough to the original to create another Dolphin, so Nintendo is cracking down now to avoid problems later.

Backwards compatibility is 100% going to be a selling point of Switch 2 so I think they're trying to kill Switch emulation to make that more impactful.
