I wouldn't be surprised if they adjust it by the time the game officially releases. This may be cope, but from what I've heard it's the kind of difficulty where the AI just reads your inputs and counters anything you do as soon as you do it, which for me usually crosses the line from difficult but rewarding to unfun. Apparently the AI isn't that tough in any other mode of the game either

It looks really cool and I went from knowing nothing about dbz to being a massive cute twink who loves everything about it in the space of like a year so I've been getting really hyped up for this
I hope they fix the AI, I don't want to play on easy mode but I also don't want to have to spend hours trying to fight some jobber like Zarbon because of cheap shit or unreasonably high difficulty
