I genuinely don't uunderstand how reddit loved this game so much. Its a paid game with multiple battlepasses and an ingame shop with items that have gameplay effects. Not even the armor is purely cosmetic. It's literally everything they hate about live service games and the thing they got mad about was having to spend 2 minutes to make a Playstation account

It went to shit but it was still a great game for as long as it lasted. It should have never been made as a live service though, it would have been godly as a co-op campaign. May Sony rot in heck for what their endlessly r-slurred decision-making

I think its structure is way too repetitive for a live service game. AAA companies need to understand that not every game has to or has the ability to become the next fortnite
