I played the first game a lot unlike literally anyone else on this site or any living breathing soul who ever downloaded helldivers 2. It was a really fun goofy little battlefield sandbox where you use powerful butt weps to blow apart the entire screen.
I got to see them turn that idea into a srs bsnss competitively balanced pain simulator because they got their heads stuck so far up their asses with trying to larp as if they're working on pvp balance hotfixes. Go back to your high fire rate screen explosions and pay 2 win vehicles that annihilate entire planets with half a magazine you fricking donkeys

Recent updates severely nerfed armor. You're not forced to bring the uber rocket thing every game anymore, it feels a lot nicer now
