There's currently some sort of Star Citizen Con (yes, really) going on and they promised that the game will release in 2026. This time for sure!!! Sadly it crashed during the demo on stage - twice. There's a viral article about the game called 12 Years and $700 Million Later, What's Going on With Star Citizen's Development? with reddit reactions in this thread. Lots of coping and seething in all related subreddits brewing. The grift that keeps on giving!

If it does, I'll glady pay the $50 to play it. It sounds awesome if its released exactly as pitched. But I would also create a clan that is only for people who purchased the game for retail price and never paid an extra cent. I dont want fiscally irresponsible people in my clan.
