I'm very suprised people haven't realized what esg investing really is and why all these companies have Blackrock, Vanguard, State Street as the main investors
Game and media companies are typically not a super attractive investment since their profits fluctuate based on trends and if people like the art, story, gameplay and their employee talent which can have high turnover if you press them
so they replace their goal to beat profit year by year with esg and suddenly you have a set of huge companies buying 40% of your stock float and all they want is a checklist to be completed
