Inquisition's peak concurrent count is less than 5000 according the same site. With veilguard now at 40k, it's looking grim for the "g*mers have discriminating tastes" crowd
Hogwarts doing a lot better than I thought it might, it's 1.5 years old SP game that really doesn't have all that much to do in it, I'd guess it would have like 1-5k peak.
Player count isnt really the sign; we want to know whether bioware will make enough to recoup the losses. At this point, with 57k players, thats about $3-3.5M which is pretty grim given dev time and costs for all that time. They really cant afford a major after their past flops leaving them in the red, so this may actually kill the studio and allow someone to get the rights to Mass Effect and actually save that series.
I think it's long been time to accept that the Mass Effect trilogy will be all that we get out of that franchise, and that's a good thing. All that came from a different time with different people than we have now. Putting it in the hands of a different studio won't save it. These oversized AAA publishers just need to put out enough stinkers that they finally stop straying outside the domain of sports games, CoD, and Sims, abandoning all creative endeavors whatsoever to smaller studios with a vision.
Lolwut? Fallout going to bethesda practically made the franchise, more peeps have played fo3+ than the originals. A different studio can save it, so long as the right studio picks it up. Heck, Fallout is best off in the hands of other studios than with bugthesda (see FONV).
