Speaking of dialogues, one of the ones that stands out to me is the creepy hitting on with delivery that is so off-putting in the delivery. This happens in BG3 too so its not exclusively a veilguard issue either.

In Veilguard It's the one where the tiefling is talking to the female dwarf and is like "Mmm you smell good. You smell REALLY good." And basically you get a sidebar info saying the relationship turned into some gay poly?

The delivery is creepy af, even the dwarf is sort of uncomfortable but you can't say no to a :marseytrain2: er pooner so she has to be open-minded.

Same happens in BG3 where unprompted Halsen in the middle of dialogue where we were talking about the crisis we avoided just takes a deep inhale and groans how beautiful my character is. Like what?

I bring this up because I find the irony hilarious how LGBT groups strive and harp about safe space and consent but the characters they make and how they talk are just so creepy and r*pey sounding.

Halsin was almost as jarring as that psychic neighbor trying to tentacle r*pe me out of nowhere. I had kept it strictly business with both of those dudes for hours of gameplay. Just don't have them try to spelunk your anus unless you initiate the flirting in some way. How hard is that?

Gale is ok. His voice actor reminds me of Moss from IT Crowd.

Shadowheart is a mary sue her story is kinda bland and shes annoying. Only thing going for her is the goth girl aesthetic.

Karlache is also annoying and I fricking HATE that accent. She makes no sense. She is the only one with this shitty forced cockney accent. How is she the only one with this accent?! Was she in the UK when she was in heck for 12 years?!? Anyway the character just got free from heck and her only concern is cooming.

Lae'zel is cool. Actually goes through an arc and changes as a person. Still a frog tho.

Minthara dommy mommy but her story is not fleshed out at all.
