I bought that case because it could fit a full atx mainboard in a miniatx form factor, and I didn't want to upgrade to a miniatx mainboard.
I was travelling a lot for work and my laptop couldn't do 3d modeling all that well, so I wanted to bring my tower with me since I'd be away from home for months at a time.
And I'm still rocking a Radeon R9 380, so we're probably on the same level. It runs RDR2 and that's all I need. Like, it still has 2 DVI ports and a single HDMI, that's how old it is.

Half the reason I haven't upgraded is because I don't know the current numbering system. I zoned out somewhere around Nvidia 1080GT or whathaveyou. Seems there's no real discussion on "prosumer"-tier cards, just OMG THE LATEST GEFORCE GTX12909 PLATINUM AWD XTREMEG*MER XFINITY TURBO DOES FIVE MORE FLOPS THAN THE GTX12809. A single card gets hyped to heck and back and becomes the sole focus of any discussion.

just buy a used 1080TI off reddit and throw that thing in there, it's a beast and pretty cheap (~$150)
or if you want something a little newer you could go for a 3080 for around $350
both will last a long time

If I'm gonna upgrade, it'll be something in line with my ryzen 5 / socket am5
