I work with a Nigerian and she's one of my best employees. QA has let me listen in on some of her calls when we're fricking around in zoom and she's super polite but takes zero shit from people. She can flip on that sassy old black woman voice and just dominate some butthole into submission. Suddenly some dude that was just like, "You frickin b-word do what I say" is all "yes ma'am thank you for your help ma'am."

It's hilarious.

Plus when she sends me a ticket she actually explains what the frick the issue is instead of being like "my Salesforce isn't working." Isn't working how dumbfrick? Now I have to send out a message asking more questions, wasting time I could be using to shitpost on rdrama.

Basically I'm saying Nigerians are based and we should import more of them.

Nigeria's a lot like India- it's the regional cultural and economic powerhouse and produces a lot of skilled workers, but the problems that it would have to overcome to become a developed country are probably insurmountable. With its massive wealth inequality, ethnic and religious tensions, population boom, and terrorism issues, it's probably going to shit the bed within the next few decades. o well
