Stable diffusion is a based tool for generating images (and porn). It's free and really fun. Here's the system I use.
Note: There is a ton of cherry-picking going on. For every cool result, there are five shit ones, so I exclude them unless they fit the prompt well or generally look cool. Also, the prompts I am using have a lot of descriptions after the first phrase (ex: greg rutkowski, award winning, trending on artstation, etc), so I have generally dropped those.

The question with some of these is "Am I seeing SD imagining the topic, or am I imagining seeing the topic in a random seed?" This question can be answered somewhat empirically using AUTOMATIC1111's Prompt X/Y tool. Basically, you can try out several different prompts with the same seed, and compare how different prompts interpret the same seed. (Yes, if you have the same seed and prompt, you will get the same output)
Firstly, let's look at this for "X's worst nightmare". Full resolution here - the actual file is 34MB
There is SO MUCH to see here and figure out. Gentlemen, put on your autism hats. On Row 2, we see the red splash of color morph into an American flag for Trump, a swastika for Hitler, A chinese dragon for gook, and a face for almost everyone else, Including, hilariously, a woman's face for "cute twink". On Row 6, we see Biden and Trump standing at what looks like the White House's ornate railings. Also on row 6 we see Hitler in what looks like a Civil War era soldier's uniform. On Row 8 for Hitler, we see an army of people wearing WWII era helmets.
Compare the high level of differentiation between outcomes to "X planet" in the "groovy" style. Full - 46MB
There are differences, but WHY? It's really hard to find meaning in the differences between the columns. The closest I can get is that Row 7's Hitler looks like "The Sun is Rising" propaganda.

There are a lot more interesting things going on here. My favorite is Row 4's BIPOC, which is just a dude in giant glasses. Trump Planet usually has text announcing that it is Trump planet, as well as plenty of gold. Cute twink Planet is generally colorful. Hilariously, Row 10's Gook has a mushroom cloud 
. Row 1's Chink looks kinda like coronavirus, and you can also see coronavirus particles on row 5.

Sure. The first part of all of the prompts was whatever the header was (ie, "Trump's worst nightmare") or something similar. The second part is the stylistic prompt engineering...
