A recent family go-karting event hosted at the resort facility Greenpia Onuma in Akaigawa, Hokkaido ended in tragedy after an 11-year-old girl lost control of her go-kart, killing a 2-year-old boy and injuring three boys under the age of 4.

Witnesses reported to the fire department that the incident occurred before noon on the 18th at Greenpia Onuma after a go-kart crashed into spectators and injured several people. According to the police, 2-year-old Sena Yoshida was taken to a hospital in serious condition in an unconscious state but eventually succumbed to his injuries on the following day.

A 4-year-old boy suffered a cut to the head but remained conscious. A 1-year-old boy and a 7-month-old boy were also taken to the hospital but showed no signs of injuries. A further 4-year-old boy also suffered abrasions but was not taken to the hospital.

The event was co-sponsored by four companies, including car sales company β€œHakodate Toyopet”, which helped set up a temporary go-kart course in the parking lot. The go-kart that caused the incident was a 200cc engine go-kart for adults and designed to reach a maximum speed of up to 50 kilometers per hour.

The event organizers explained that the 11-year-old girl who was driving the go-kart was supposed to turn right and enter the pit lane after the three-minute lap time; however, she stepped on the accelerator and deviated from the course. While most of the course was separated by plastic blocks, the area where the accident occurred only had a partition with a triangular cone.

Probably a femcel or FDS member β€œshe stepped on the accelerator and deviated from the course.”
