How the frick are you supposed to use the search function on the subreddit archives?

It literally just takes you to a massive webpage with a list of all posts in the old sub

Are we supposed to do what I think we're supposed to do?

Idk but I was trying to find that dude on deux who used to always comment randomly in posts about how his parents wouldn't let him use deodorant and would make him bathe like 3x a day when he was a teenager , and when you checked his history he was a mod of some antibathing sub.

Yeah unfortunately you need a degree in library science to navigate the archives properly. It's not impossible to do but annoying. This may be changed in the future but it's not at the top of any to-do lists atm.

Also the comments in self posts wouldn't move over so those are unfortunately absent.
