Dark souls is piss easy once you realize you don't need to fight every single enemy at once. It's like no one has ever heard of kiting and killing one by one. That or use fire magic

Bosses all have a weakness. Everything in a souls game can be easily overcome with a type of magic until elden ring, which has deliberate anti-magic mechanics. The problem is magic doesn't feel as satisfying as swinging a weapon

Depends on which game you're taking about. Dark Souls II has piss easy bosses compared to the other games but it's the enemy encounters and level design that are hard. NPC invaders literally cheat lmao

yea accessibility is a weird cope because most art isnt accessible, a blind person isn't getting the most out of Phantom of the Opera, a deaf person can't enjoy the Beatles, etc. But hey at least with vidya people are neurodivergent enough to be able to beat an entire game liek Orcarina blindefolded and that didnt need an EZ mode no challenge enemies cant do damage. Like Dark Souls is pretty decent as a series, ive only played DS3 tho, but isn't the entire appeal of it taken away when you add an easy mode?
