Yeah they're technically immortal but molting their shell will eventually take enough energy to kill them. I think the oldest one caught is 75yo

I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but alligators definitely exist and have been around for millions of years. The fossil record is clear on this. So either you're misunderstanding something or you're just trying to be a contrarian for the sake of it. Either way, it's not really worth my time to engage with you further on this.
