No bad tactics, only bad targets. :marseynails:

Internal consistency doesn't matter to them because they're on the right side of history. The constantly updating scripture dictates what is good and what is evil.

It's a new age religion, and trying to grasp the internal logic is just going to make you want to fedpost.

trying to grasp the internal logic

There is no logic. That's why talking to them is utterly infuriating. Their use of words is completely at variance with reality. They have no principles and no standards and seemingly no concern at all about saying stuff that's completely inconsistent. You think they'd feel some shame or internal discomfort at saying on Monday 'A is good' and on Tuesday 'A is bad' but it just doesn't seem to bother them.

You don't think fascists should be banned for being fascist?

That word today means literally whatever people want it to mean. So, no.

It clearly means fascists. People that defend fascists are fascists too. You're defending them now so it sounds like you're a fascist. No wonder you support Musk

It's a new age religion

Honestly, yeah it really is. Its followers are the same wild eyed zealots who kill themselves with en mass with poison Kool Aid, or shave their heads and wander around in robes trying to bother strangers into donating money or buying their stupid cult literature. It has all the dogma, the priestly classes, the moral enforcers, the holy scriptures, and the eternal punishments for the infidel that most other religions have.

What it lacks is the conviction to do anything beyond angrily typing 30-page rants that would make a middle school rhetoric teacher roll their eyes

This religion, like a few others, does work actively to control public discourse, and the media, and it understands that if famous and 'notable' people openly support it, then it's no longer a fringe belief but something the masses will swallow. And this religion, as with most others, paints its cause as the one true and righteous path, and all others as degenerate and evil, and those who don't follow and worship the new gods are evil, tainted, and maybe even subhuman. We might think this cult lacks the follow through and zeal to wage war against its infidels, but remember Christianity was once a weird little cast off sect of Judaism.

Ideology is secular religion (with a strong economic bent and either flexible morals or none at all) for modern age, we just aren't calling it that. Yet.

That dumb sign every shitlib puts out on their lawn literally starts with "In this house, We Believe:"

how do they achieve consensus on what is good/evil?

is it always top-down (thought leaders/journ*lists/msm pushing new updates to the npcs)? :marseyhmm:

Any and all systems that oppress are evil. The Cathedral is top down, but it's also decentralized. The academics and journ*s throw out targets and the ones that catch on become the defining struggle of the progressive generation.
