[EFFORT] Aspiring Nevada politician does a little bullying to the old white women at his office, so they conspire to take him down by feeding negative information to a Las Vegas reporter. He loses his election, kills the reporter, and is immediately caught because of how r-slurred he was

There is a great long form article here but if that's too many I'll summarize the events leading up to the murder:

• Rob Telles was an HVAC repairman with big political ambitions

• He goes to law school, graduates, practices for a short while and then finds a strategic election to begin his political career in

• Runs as the Democratic candidate for Las Vegas Public Administrator and wins

• It's a dumb position that basically deals with sad dead people who no one cared about when they died

• Most employees are older women, and Telles quickly pisses the old biddies off by yelling at them for eating lunch at their desks and not working hard enough

• Starts showing favoritism to the office hottie, sending the old biddies into jealous rage

• Old biddies start up a rumor mill and even tail / spy on Telles and the hottie and see them having long "talks" in her car

• Ringleader of old biddies enters the primary to run as a Democrat against Telles, and also gets a reporter to do a story about him creating a hostile work environment and having an inappropriate relationship. (Both Telles and the office hottie were married and their relationship is an affair)

• The reporter runs several negative stories and Telles goes ballistic and schizoposts on his election website. (Note that the "Rita" mentioned is the head of the old biddies, his coworker, running against him in the election)

• Telles loses badly to his gossiping foid coworker

• And yet the negative stories keep coming, so Telles continues to cope and seethe about the reporter on twitter

So Jeff German, the reporter, was working on yet another story about the disgraced Rob Telles, which Telles was aware of and publicly seething about. On Sep 3rd, Jeff German is found stabbed to death. Police released photos of a shady character in a large straw hat seen outside German's home. Some suspected the person was a woman because of their very short stature. However, German's reporter coworkers (and the police) knew Telles was a midget and saw through the disguise.

Telles reported into work as usual on Monday.

Police then released photos of an SUV which the reporters recognized as looking similar to Telles's vehicle. They immediately drove to his house and got photos of him washing the murder vehicle in his driveway.

Telles was arrested on Wednesday, Sep 7, a mere 4 days after committing the crime. He had to be carried out of his house by an ambulance because in a half-assed attempt for sympathy he made a few little cuts on his arms.

The motive here can seem almost as r-slurred as Telles: killing someone just for a few negative stories that didn't get much attention and might blow over? Well the story German was working on was finished by his fellow reporters and recently dropped

WOW. WHAT A SHOCK. THAT SHORT LITTLE CREEP WAS A SERIAL S*X PEST WHO WAS GETTING AWAY WITH IT FOR YEARS!

His s*x pestery dated all the way back to groping a girl at a frat party. Oh, and did I forget to mention he beat his wife?

If this had come out, it would be highly likely Telles could never run for public office again. Wisely, he gave the public a different reason to rule him out by committing a murder.

Rita Reid, his old foid rival, is still in office, her scheme to take down her ugly boss having succeeded beyond her wildest dreams. Maybe she will have the Democratic political career that Telles dreamed of.
