DON'T DRINK TAP WATER. My mother who is CEO of a hospital in upstate new york just got a biological warfare warning from the CDC. She told me not to drink bottled water (personally I was heading for the vodka figuring the alcohol would kill any microbes). The radio just mentioned that biological warfare has been suspected although there is no evidence. The only disease they have specifically named is anthrax, but still, better be careful. - miss-lapin

yanno, i'm gonna use this thread to tell my totally cool 9/11 story.
i was in gubment class and the teacher was a vietnam vet. another teacher came and banged on the door so he went out to talk to her. when he came back in it was like she kicked him in the nuts. then he turned the TV on and just fell to absolute pieces. then in the next class the teacher was all "science class is more important we aren't going to watch tv". then they let us all go home, so after spending the next hour smoking marijuana cigarettes i came home and played a japanese only import game online on my dreamcast for 8 straight hours.
god i was so fricking cool as a teen.

Jesus Christ, wanting and being a tunnel rat takes another kind of crazy. I canβt imagine the feeling of being in a tunnel that is likely booby trapped and could have a VC just around the corner with a rifle while only being armed with a service pistol.
