More innovative than anything Google has actually done with Nest in the past decade.

I still can't run the Fan without enabling heating or cooling. There's a month-long window where I don't need it to heat or cool, just circulate. End up setting it to Cool, disable scheduling, 90Β°F setpoint just to run the Fan with windows open and not worry about AC kicking in.

It's all wired properly, including the optional common wire. The fan is completely separate from heating and cooling, it's 100% a software limitation.

It's ok to admit you're wrong, you know.
