Everyone in there is in so much denial about how they are basically being medically diagnosed as insufferable buttholes. "I don't know why everyone I encounter keeps saying how people with BPD are difficult and terrible." Gee, I don't know. It's a true mystery.
My proposal is that there should be some type of BPD registry like we have for libertarians and male feminists.

She's so painfully close. BPD sufferers are desperate for someone else's caring; the disease makes it so their need for affection can never be satiated. It's a black hole of love and affection.
How the heck does a med student falsely believe that the disease she has is easily curable?

Sort of reminds me of my ex.
The more time we spent together (which involved me driving to another town to visit since she didn't have a car) the more she acted like we never got to see each other. We could spend a whole week in the same room and afterwards she would be a crying wreck when I wanted some time to myself.

It ainโt curable but itโs definitely treatable. Most engage in attention-seeking behaviors because it feels like attention is the salvo for historic neglect and abuse. The right therapies can black pill the borderline into realizing human attention for the sake of itself exacerbates the problem and that you have to re-wire your coping mechanisms for long-term stability.
Itโs rough. Reading some of these comments makes me feel sad since I know these hot takes are coming from a place of hurt caused by folks who have untreated BPD. Forgiving yourself for the ringer you put folks you liked or loved through is the first step, and itโs hard since you often have to do it from a place of no social support (since you likely burned all those bridges).
