Okay so as I understand it its like this. In human history we have only completely eradicated 1-2 diseases till date via vaccines and stuff. The reason it took decades and effort was because you couldn't force anyone so the flow naturally slowed over time.
This time a new virus came out and first some reason those in power decided it was time to brute force vaccinations now to eradicate the disease as fast as possible but they miscalculated and now more people than before are actively hostile to vaccines.

Hopeless venture because it has spread to random wildlife too. The ones that have been eliminated e.g. smallpox had very close but not as lethal variations in animals that inoculated farmhands to the virus, leading them to develop the first vaccines from cowpox.
Currently no virus with an animal reservoir has been eliminated.

I would send you an hour long discussion between top immunologists discussing how this happens but you wonโt watch it cause youโre a rube. The short of it is. Weโve never mass vaccinated a population for a animal reservoir virus before the virus became endemic. Doing this causes the virus to evolve because youโve introduced hardship. This evolution is now causing breakthrough cases or immune escape. The vaccine is actually just spike proteins that cause your body to over work when it gets the virus this is an immune response. That same immune response is why for the last 30 years of trying to make coronavirus vaccines theyโve always failed. Same way this one will. Itโs just when this one fails it could be met with an evolved virus that causes the immune system to overwork itself leading to killing of only the ones with the strongest immune systems. Ie the young and the healthy like in the Spanish flu also from China

That's not entirely unreasonable but shouldn't that affect people who were infected worse than those who were vaccinated, and why are you constantly just saying 4 years
Also they're seen when your body overreacts to a novel virus. Your body's immune response to something you're already immunized against is way weaker. Why would this be distinct from any other virus? The reason coronaviruses haven't been vaccinated against in the past is just because they evolve so rapidly that they're ineffective in the long-term.
