/r/TxAbortionSupport - The bait is cast

r/TxAbortionSupport is now open for mod applications. Just PM me your reddit username and I'll shoot you an invite in the next couple hours or so. I reserve the right not to add you if your name is as subtle as 9/11.

The plan for the subreddit is as follows: it is an inversion of the TxBountyHunter sub. We pretend to help texans get illegal abortions or to be texans needing abortions (r*pe, etc). Hopefully to fuel the flames of outrage over the ban, maybe get some positive press even. Ideally we get some rightoids to rage, TPTK-style.

After a while, we execute @TheTroubleWithPibbles plan of weaponising subreddit bans. Ideally by that point we have had some visibility among progressive-reddit so that they think we are one of them. Then we switch gears and bait the admins in banning us, though im not completely sure yet of how to do that without blowing our cover.

The end-goal is to get an inverse of the NNN situation. Instead of a subreddit getting banned for bullshit reasons and janny sperging, the sub got banned for "legit" reasons (brigading? Doxxing?) But because we are "good guys" the jannies sperg out to get us unbanned. If that works, great, if not also not bad because we will leave behind the legacy of a subreddit named "TxAbortionSupport" being banned, which can be used in the future to rile up people against the admongs - "look at these fascists, they banned a subreddit that promoted women's health and reproductive rights".

If it goes as planned, every step of the plan should create drama, so even if we hit only half of our goals it will be worth it

But I cant do this alone.

Uncle Ted needs YOU.

Enlist now and yeet those texan fetuses.

People are asking how a ban would work. To engineer a ban of a pro-choice subreddit I did have a few ideas:

  • The easiest would simply be to write posts implying we helped women illegally obtain abortions in Texas, and that we met them through Reddit DMs organized by r/txabortionsupport. This doesn't require any obvious trolling at all, just make it clear that we are breaking the law but covering our tracks. If no one bites in a week or two, tip off Susan B Anthony List and other pro-life organizations that would try to sue Reddit under the new law. Tip off r/prolife as well. The easiest ban would be if Reddit cucks when threatened about hosting illegal activity.

  • Wait a few weeks and start to bring in 1776 type rhetoric where feminist moral philosophy dictates a violent response to the oppression. Say we had an anonymous patient die because he couldn't obtain an abortion in time, and justice for him means rioting in the streets. If we don't want to become Gil-ead we need to rise up against our oppressors!

  • Stickying bardfinn dox or another insta-ban topic is always a last resort option as well, we would just need to report it to the admins.

After any ban, evidence that the ban was justified should be explained as "infiltration from alt-right brigaders who infiltrated a women's subreddit and gained access to a mod account." Claim that this is the alt-right's new tactic to silence progressives.

An alternate tactic would be letting it slip that this was all an alt-right bounty hunter honeypot that harvested personal information from women and abortion providers through DMs. Turn it into a direct sequel to the original bounty hunter sub and pretend it actually worked.

I like the idea of getting banned by pretending to actually help people.

There is an issue that if we write enough legitimate advice, we'll actually help people and I've always been against helping others in any way.
