The funny thing is that diversity should mean that certain media and communities can explicitly target people of certain experiences. It should mean incredibly exclusive media and subcultures on the condition that everyone has the opportunity to belong to one that suits the contours of their self and past rather then just the dominant demographic getting a nuanced identity validated by broader society but instead we have these bland marvel movies and communities which include everyone simultaneously.
