If you examine a lot of the communist thinkers and revolutionaries, very rarely is the leadership coming from peasant backgrounds. The people who were in the leadership of the USSR/Vietnam/China communistic parties were middle class to wealthy backgrounds, and incidentally transitioned their wealth into political power in times where wealth would cease to bring stability and status.
The same is happening in the USA. Companies, perhaps not most but some are looking to transition their material wealth into political wealth. Companies are just groups of people. Wealth brings materials, but only in free societies does wealth come from work. So if you're head of an organization, or a C-suite exec and you see people like Sanders and such getting more popular, you become more closely aligned with them because you want to plausibly be able to carve out a role in their new power structure.
Because if the conservatives are ideologically libertarian or corrupt enough, they won't regulate you no matter what. Hedging the markets of the political economy makes the most sensible investment for companies/upper management. That's why companies would like to sell your kids gender transition hormones rather than pay you higher wages.

Anyways, no corporate execs are communists. If you really believe that, you're more rslurred than the Airbnb dumbass that banned what's her name's parents.
These people aren't actually aligning their own politics with Sanders or whoever. They're cynically using lip service to leftoid idpol because they think it will make them more money.
It's the same shit as all the corporations changing their Twitter pictures to rainbow flags during gay pride month (except not in countries that hate gays because again, money). They don't actually care about gays. All the execs aren't secretly gay. They just pander for that sweet sweet homocash.
The idea that massive international capitalist corporations are all secretly run by communists is one of the dumbest rightoid copes, I swear.

Anyhow, you kinda missed my point. My point is that corporations hedge their bets, and are responsive to political environments. If you think they don't do this, you might want to look inward before accusing someone of being a "dumb rightoid".
If you're head of a corporation, or an executive, and you see political winds, it's not about what makes you money, it's about what maintains your ability to command resources. That's just rational thought.
Money by itself isn't valuable, just like technology or any other man-made good. Like Xi Jinping isn't a chink in a rice hat and mao suit made of burlap. He's finely dressed and wears lots of fancy jewelry and makeup. (Probably) At the end of the day for him, he's better than any capitalist in China because he controls the wealth and the power. Stalin did the same, smoking like a chimney, getting drunk and living high on the hog.
I'm not saying capitalists or corporations are leftists, although there's no inherent contradiction there ideologically for leftism and incorporated entities. All I'm saying is powerful people are powerful and want to keep it that way through any available means, and if they get to pat themselves on the back and say "A specter is haunting europe" then even better.
