it's probably going to go that way tbh. This is hardly the first time some corporate do gooder thought they'd own someone (libs or cons, doesn't matter which the result is the same) They always get burned for it too which is the funny part. Even if there's a fine or whatever it won't matter though. The fine will be a slap on the wrist at worst. The libs will feel like they got a win for owning the cons and when the fine happens the cons will feel vindicated like they got a win as well. The whole thing is a pointless exercise in posturing.
