The amount of applications and resumes I received over the decades that were so intentionally shitty because mom/dad was making them apply was in the 1000s. It seems to be a common tactic used by neets.
People also do this to cheat unemployment, some states require you to submit x applications.
I know this from working a job that paid me 200k for 9 months and then sat on the dole all winter before the next work year started. I submitted a lot of terrible applications for jobs I didnโt want
Karen, I want a job but filling out thousands of online workaday forms every day makes me want to shoot myself. So on some days I give up and write what I actually think.
These days you kind of have to. Realistically, you won't have connections at many organizations, the best you can do is have a good reputation at your current job, groom your cover letter for each application and keep applying to thousands of employers.

lose lose mindset. I have cultivated physical connections with hundreds of managers and stars at top corporations. Iโm all the way in, and theyโre all the way in me. Iโm grinding for sales and grinding my butt
My god I just checked your post history. There is no shaming you. This is literally your life. Just imagine how much you could accomplish if you werenโt addicted to Reddit. Youโre making a difference, though!

Iโve found that to be true with golf. The guy who plays slowly on the course is going to be molasses in meetings. The guy whoโs generous with compliments on the course is going to do the same at dinner. And the guy who cheats on the course is going to cheat in business, or on his taxes or, say, in politics.

Yeah be too lazy to fill out some standard form that usually your browser does for you after the first few times. That'll show your enthusiasm for work
