Heβd think we are idiots for neglecting important debts to the gods, and this is what we get for losing sight of whatβs most precious.
Mesoamericans had gigabrain ideas about war though, so no surprise they lost against Spain. For example the flower war thing, committing to the outcome of a single battle seems pretty smart to me. They would agree with the enemies to have the exact same number of troops on both sides, so limited forces. It forced them to use their absolute top tier warriors in a ritualized way, meaning nobles and veteran strategists, etc had to fight. Agree on 1 battlefield, what happens happens.
Seems like a good way to get things over and done with already, honestly Iβm tired of the Ukraine war meme thing.
