Serial killer known as 'Pedrinho Matador' (Killer Petey) killed in São Paulo

According to the Military Police, around 10am this Sunday, two men passed by shooting from inside a car on Rua José Rodrigues da Costa, in the Ponte Grande neighborhood.

The serial killer known as Killer Petey was murdered this Sunday morning (5), in Mogi das Cruzes, in the Greater São Paulo Area. The information was confirmed by the Military Police and the Civil Police.

Pedro Rodrigues Filho, 68 years old, had already been convicted for dozens of murders.

According to the police, Killer Petey was found around 10am in the Ponte Grande neighborhood. According to the serial killer's aunt, he was on the sidewalk with a lap child when a black car drove by shooting. The child was not hit.

The police were then called to the scene and learned that the black car had been abandoned. The police started the search for this vehicle, which was later found. According to the Military Police, the person who shot Petey changed cars and then fled in a white vehicle.

Killer Petey was already dead when the police arrived on the scene. The forensics concluded the work and the body was removed from the scene. At this moment, military police are in the place where the car used in the crime was abandoned. No one has been arrested.

In a statement, the State Department of Public Safety (SSP) said that the Civil Police is investigating the murder of a man, 68 years old, on Sunday morning (05) in Mogi das Cruzes.

MPs were called to attend the occurrence on José Rodrigues da Costa street. The victim was hit by gunfire and the suspects fled soon after the crime.

The SSP also informed that the case is being registered as qualified homicide and vehicle location/seizure at the Flagrant Central of Mogi das Cruzes.
