Worse than a scam, it legit contributes to most of ocean pollution with plastics. Once you decide to pay someone to move your plastic garbage to China or Malaysia instead of selling it to them, of course they are going to dump it into the ocean asap. All the while there was absolutely no issue with just burying it in landfills, much cheaper and allows reprocessing in the future. But no, in regards to this and to the nuclear energy the assorted Green movement has been the largest disaster for the planet.
I don't understand why the Firefly pilot was such an uggo with no redeemable qualities. I hated the movie with all the fibers of my soul for turning the Reaver transformation from something genuinely weird, like they make you watch torture until you go crazy, to a boring zombie virus.
