Masterlawls tier post. Just saw the Vader scene from rogue one.

So I just saw the Vader scene of rogue one on YouTube. The one where the rebels are stuck in the corridor and angry Vader cuts through all of them and they are panicking trying to leave with the ship as fast as they can. Then the scene ends with Vader standing cinematically at the edge of space staring down the ship flying away.

So I just had a thought about how much cooler it would have been of bader standing there in his rage uses the force to try and pull the entire ship back and for a moment you can see the ship slow down and almost freeze in place. Everyone is frozen in fear inside, the ship thrusters are pushed to max but the ship is now moving backwards. The chief engineer gives the signal to remove all safety protocols and doubles the thruster boost and you can hear cracks and creaks all over the ship as if its about to break apart at any moment, that's when it finally manages to break free from Vader's force attack and escape.

In my opinion my reimagining of the scene would have doubled the tension and I might just watch star Cape shit one day if they ever have a scene like that in it going full horror movie mode.

It would definitely have been cooler if it had been Douglas Bader just wailing on them stormtroopers with his wooden legs and then he flies off into space in his Spitfire and dies of asphyxiation because WW2 era aircraft weren't suitable for interplanetary travel.
