We had a “Firework Shooting” on Thursday. It was terrifyingly traumatic. : Teachers

During lunch, a group of students thought it would be funny to light off about 100 firecrackers in one of the stairwells. What proceeded afterwards was nothing short of mass hysteria and panic.

Only in yankeestan. In my country no one REEEE;s about "muh mass shottings!" when some children light off firecrackers in class

fiirwerks!

I was sitting in my classroom eating lunch with some students when a student of my runs into my room to announce there’s a shooter on campus. I look out my window from the second floor and see about 100 students running across the bus circle and hitting the fence to jump it, fleeing onto a busy road for safety. It turns out, all over campus students were running for their lives.

As a former student I imagine a lot of them were just running because it meant they could get out of class.

An announcement comes on, but my incompetent administrator yells something incomprehensible and it cuts out (the intercoms have been absolute shit at my school for years).

lol

I later heard stories that teachers were locking students out of their rooms, panicking with the hysteria, and making matters much worse than needed

LMAO. Imagine going back to english class the next day knowing Mrs bitcherson left you to fricking die

Probably a really unpopular opinion but, I'm a hundred percent not doing that. I value my life way more than others, which is funny to say considering how suicidal I am. Plus if a shooter gets in the room we're all probably dead anyways so there's no point for the theatrics.

Wow, look at this coward. If I was a teacher and there was a shooter, not only would I protect the students with my body, but I would also walk through the bullet fire and in my last breath break the shooters neck with my bare hands. This is the problem with modern society; if you won't die to protect our children, you won't die for anything, and that makes you worthless. It isn't "theatrics", it's basic human decency and the minimum expectation for any adult. If you can't stare down some pasty faced teenager with a gun you are a coward. If you die, you basically have a guaranteed spot in heaven, VIP pass included. If you run I guarantee you burn in heck, which is exactly what a coward like you deserves. This is what happens when we let our kids be taught by half functioning drug addicts. I saw the aspiring teachers when I was in college, they were the saddest, sickest, most abhorrent people in the entire world. The only things they know how to do well is smoke weed and have poli relationships with fatties. If you have children, homeschool them.
