When used to work at a gasoline station during Covid this one guy stole something from the shop, I had chased after him, he jumped on a bike and biked off laughing. What he didn’t know was that I have been a sprinter all my life and I was also very fast for 200lbs, when he turned his head to look back I was already right beside him and I yanked his shirt to the side making him fall hard. He was shocked, a little scared, I grabbed the motor oil from the ground and stepped back to give him the option to deescalate and see if he was reaching for anything in his pockets. Luckily he didn’t pull anything out, got back on his bike and biked off looking a little shaken.

Yes it was a dumb move on my part to go after someone for something that was 7$, It would be the last time I would do something out of proportion and I would let the company deal with it. But I would be lying if I didn’t feel so good after that, just being able to have a mini adventure and nothing bad happening as a consequence.
