This is literally that stupid "it's not my job to educate you" thing that progressives on the internet say. (22)

He did his research where? On the internet? Please tell us how he could possibly be more well versed than, I donโ€™t know, people who actually work in this field? (16)

It's so easy to flippantly dismiss "the internet", as if it matters whether you read something on paper or electronically. There's nothing magic about paper, dipshit."The internet" AKA "the greatest repository of human knowledge ever assembled". Yes, that internet. You only question that he is an expert who has done thousands of hours of research because you don't like his conclusions. (-8)

I feel like she was trying to be nice to him because his anti vaccine stance is his most glaring, most covered and most ridiculous view. If he had taken the hint and pivoted away from it, he would have come off as less of a whackadoo and more of a serious person. (12)

She raised an issue she was not prepared to discuss, and her attitude was anything but friendly, it was passive aggressive. It looked just like what you'd expect from a CNN or MSNBC host which she basically is. (-7)

He also had multiple convictions (2)

Trump's enemies went after him and his team for various things having nothing to do with Russia. With Manafort it was some kind of decades-old financial crime. For Flynn it was allegedly lying to an FBI agent. Trump was seen as an enemy of the state and so they ferociously went after him and his team. None of it had anything at all to do with Russia. The whole Russia thing was just a smokescreen, a cover. (1)

The problem here is that this is not something he's running on. It's a personal opinion he has that isn't front and center to his campaign. The point of interviewing a presidential candidate is to get their views on issues related to their candidacy.I admit that 5 years ago I would have considered his ideas fringe. That said, we've seen behind the curtain a little more recently and now it's not as easy to say that. What frustrates me is that he mentions the autism rate going through the roof, the instances of chronic disease going through the roof, the dependence on pharmaceuticals for record numbers of Americans, the terrible ROI we get in medicine compared to Europe or elsewhere, and rather than get into those numbers they just yell: conspiracy theory! If I've learned anything in the last 5 or 6 years it's not to do that and assume you're right. I'm generally pro-capitalist or at least I think it beats the alternatives. But it's hard to ignore the problems created by the profit motive when it comes to certain industries and healthcare is right at the top of that list. It forced the industry to not prioritize health. I don't know how so many people can ignore this fact. They don't prioritize health. They prioritize profit. This requires them to push for MORE services and products and the products with higher profit margins. "Perverse incentives" is the operative economic term. They are incentivized to do unethical, immoral things. "There's no money in the cure" as the old saying goes. I don't know if they're burying existent cancer cures, but there's a reason that millions of people find it believable that they would do exactly that, because if it would cost them billions in profits, it's easy to believe they would rather have people sick with cancer than everyone cured and all those profit opportunities permanently gone. No, but it's an absolutely stupid response to "how will you sway pro-vax people". You will not change a single mind if you tell people to go research things on their own. Even if anyone did it, they would probably only look for sources thar reinforce what they already believe. He's a politician running for president, the least he can do is make an argument better than some dipshit anti-vaxxer in a comment section who's run out of arguments and has to default to "dO yOuR rEsEaRcH". The 19th amendment was a mistake. Women are biologically wired to seek a provider, and in this case, it's the government. Since the 19th amendment was passed in 1919, the government has done nothing but expand and become more intrusive. Social security (a legit ponzi), the welfare state, increased taxation, the list goes on.

Look at the 2016 electoral map if only women voted. 49 states went blue. If only men voted? 49 states went red

Women shouldn't hold office either, or be in combat units in the military. They're emotional and bleed once a month, can't make rational decisions and inherently don't know how to lead, because women who separate themselves from other women in terms of ideas establish themselves as an "outsider" and it lessens their chances of finding a mate. We're animals, and our biology precedes everything.

According to my girlfriend, this opinion is pretty darn unpopular.
