It's been many years since I'm part of the community, and I see how you rationalize the world, and what social developments you see as the danger and want to stop them. Yet you still haven't managed to convince me that your opinion is the correct one. You have so much advantage here tho, you have way more people seeking out all the bad things rightwingers/nazis/rednecks and whatever incels did to post, and more people who represent your side can come up with arguments. Despite this, all your arguments sound so weak, your worldview abhorrent and obsolete, your representatives ludicrous. From what I’ve seen rightoids tend to want a simple solution and leftoids want overly complex solution that ends up creating 20 new problems.

Leftoids also place too much trust in Institutions when they control them. Rightoids tend to hold respect for something, but not really trust it.

At the current stage there is no compromise because small problems have become existential identities for both parties.

None of it matters. The role of the elites is to keep you fighting each other based off pointless things like race, s*x, sexuality, political ideology etc. As long as we keep doing that we will never rise up against them.

The true divide is class. The true fix to it all is civil war. Politicians should be frightened and put against a wall.

There's always going to be unreasonable people (on both sides) whom you can't convince to join you by any means. As the saying goes, you can't reason somebody out of a position that they didn't reason themselves into.

The goal isn't to convince everybody of your righteousness, it's to convince enough people that you have an overwhelming supermajority,, and then use that supermajority to grind the few remaining fanatics who are unpersuadable into a fine mulch. Obviously this description lacks nuance but overall I think it's a pretty good summary of how politics works.

So if you're wondering why rightoids do such a bad job of persuading you, option 1 is that you've never encountered a persuasive rightoid, and option 2 is that they're not trying to persuade you because they recognize you as a fanatic and have you scheduled for the mulch pit. I don't know you well enough to say which one it is but perhaps other people who know you better can weigh in.
