First they came for FPH, and I did not speak out—

 Because I was not a fatty-poker.

Then they came for Coontown, and I did not speak out—

Because that bait was too obvious.

Then they came for Jailbait, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Libertarian

Then they came for the bussyposters—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Jailbait was first, it took forever and led to a long soul-searching for reddit staff. Coontown was next, IIRC, in a banout of all other places of this sort (like r/BIPOCs, which I only remember because it had an awesome sidebar text - something like "this is the internet, if you're offended - start over"), and finally - FPH, which was clearly not illegal or even obviously despicable, so it signalled a hard lib turn. That one I remember because my girlfriend at the time was a heavy user.

I have excuses for knowing this shit, don't you see? :marseycope:

r/BIPOCs wasnt even banned for being offensive or anything, it was banned for raiding

They were banned in 2013, jailbait was banned in 2011, FPH was in 2015 (and im pretty sure that real reason for the ban was cause they posted imgur employees)

Technically NNN was banned for brigading just recently, but we all know that it's bullshit. Believing reddit's stated reasons is rather r-slurred...

oh yea, brigading is just an easy excuse to ban anyone. Only sort of evidence in favor of them telling the truth is how long coontown survived, think they got banned a bit after FPH got banned.
