I was in a place that raided a blog and drove someone to suicide and trolled their funeral. At least two thirds of that is true, but shock humor is only funny if it's novel, and that didn't feel that funny to me even at the time.
It's one thing if it's people encountering their ideological nemesis and flailing. There's real human drama in that.
Hurting people is just too easy. Cheapens the troll arting.
