CIA doesn't do domestic operations but the reason why the US so so pro-Isreal is because after Mk-Ultra president Clinton signed an exceutive order banning the US from performing domestic ops on US soil, that responsibility was then handed over to Mossad which performs all the domestic ops for the CIA.
It's why the US is so pro-Isreal because their intelligence is essentially an arm of the CIA and they have all the dirt on the US. It's not to appease evengelicals or some shit.

The CIA's use of foreign intelligence services to skirt domestic espionage laws is well established but thats when they need the end result to be legal. If they don't, then some r-slurred 1970s law isnt going to stop them.

While I do agree that nobody is enforcing the law anymore due to "national security", they still do domestic ops by proxy because there isn't a lot of public trust in the CIA and they can't handle another Mk-Ultra incident and by doing all the domestic ops by proxy, they can blame it on isreal and not take action against them due to them being an independent state who is our biggest ally in the middle east which would also cause an "international incident".
