Back when I worked for them in 2008, this was kind of the way we would fund our Xmas parties, but we did potlucks. We would make food at home, sell plates to each other, and then give the money to a manager for a Xmas fund.

TBF that’s kind of cheap of Wal-Mart to make the employee pay for the Christmas Party meal lol. Every place I worked at the company just straight up catered it and paid for it or if the employees made food we got reimbursed for the ingredients.
