By staying "neutral" you side with the oppressor. Not a good look.

Sometimes being neutral is unhelpful, such as on a question of principle. The decision will seriously compromise access for many people with visual impairments. The voice from communities in which those users participate is clear on this point. Accessibility issues are worth taking seriously, of course. Therefore, I think it is important to take a stance that this decision is unacceptable. AskReddit is a huge sub and therefore taking it private for 48 hours could have a positive impact for these users.

We are protesting because there was no discussion. Reddit clearly sees us as the product and us unpaid mods, who volunteer our time, are no better.

Shut it down.
