It is practically going to be illegal for an agricultural landowner to be productive on his own property.

Lmao the abos can literally just say "yeah this land is important" and that's it. They don't even need to disclose, even to the courts, why it's important.
I'm quickly coming around to the stance that no "original peoples" should ever get extra rights for anything. Literally eliminate all the reservations or whatever. If they wanted to keep their land they should have fought better.

They need the land barren so it acts as a firebreak next time one of them accidently lights up a pool of gasoline trying to get high

They need the land fertile and lush so it can be set on fire next time their kids are bored.

Southwest US reservations are a massive waste of potential development. Literally gave them their own country and its a fricking blight full of alcoholics, corrupt cops and shitty casinos. Drive by literal shacks with no working AC and 10 Escalades and Chargers parked out front.

Honestly, that's exactly what already happens in California. You have to literally pay for a state-approved archeologist to see if the land was important to natives![:marseycherokee: :marseycherokee:](/e/marseycherokee.webp)
There was a housing development in my hometown (where they constantly complain about "not enough houses being built") that was held up for 3+ years while they excavated the site. They found like 3 boulders that may have had cultural significance, scrapped 10 of the houses to build a memorial, and cost the developer millions of dollars in the process. Also, the memorial is at the very back of the housing tract so they had to scrap more houses to build a public road so that people could go visit the memorial. The only people who visit are homeless people who vandalize it and smoke meth.
