Mod 'defends' himself by saying Reddit admins told them that if the sub remained private, it would be considered abandoned. Gets heavily downvoted.
Almost the entire thread has comments from users angry at the mods' attitude to keeping the sub closed during the storm.

Tulsa is also a shithole and I donโt know why Ohio and New Jersey gets so much shit when Oklahoma exists, absolute miserable state.

The mass of deluded Ohio r-slurs who insist constantly that they like Ohio and itโs good actually, nobody in Oklahoma pretends it isnโt a wasteland

Ohio is boring but we at least have some beautiful scenery and outdoors. Iโm driving up to Lake Erie Tuesday to go swimming and fishing, great little getaway if youโve never been.
I spent over a year in Altus AFB, OK and traveled around the state. Let me tell you that state is fricking bleak. Ugliest nature Iโve ever seen, felt like I was in a Mexico scene from Breaking bad and the whole state was orange tint. Iโm from a town of <20k and even I thought there was nothing to fricking do there. The only state Iโve seen more fat hicks was Arkansas but at least their nature rocked. Always humid as heck too. Frick Oklahoma.

Ohio has Cedar Point.
Oklahoma has a really annoying turnpike with zero amenities and you have to pay at the same toll twice to get gas.
