if there's one thing you remember from this thread it should be his name. His art is not memorable. it's not bad, but it holly frick it does it get snooty arty types mad. if you mention he's your favorite artist, they'll sneed like you've never seen a stuck up art lover sneed before. academics think he's the literal hitler of the art world, and that includes actual hitler. i once irl heard an art historian claim he caused the iraq war because he's the dubbya of art.

apparently you're not supposed to buy art you find aesthetically pleasing, you're supposed to be challenged and :marseythonk: over a crude sculpture of a man sucking his own peepee
