I was testing importing vectors to Blender so I made this Marsey coin though I'm not completely sold on it. I was thinking perhaps making another one shaped like her head, what do you think?

I don't know if you have messed with shaders much, but if you don't mind a higher vertex count you can use a displacement node without having to trace a vector, and you can use it as a roughness map
to bring out some of the detail
This one I made looks janky because the resolution for the original image isn't very high, like you said, and you need a LOT of vertices (this model has 1,000,000). It also looks bad because I don't know how to make good gifs
