I'd divide them into four groups. These are people where there's like 100k+ tweets that are all about DNC politics/drumpf.
Retirees/unemployed (typically older) who just see this as their call in life. They usually have about the same number of followers and following.
People paid by third party orgs to astroturf. I'd speculate this is a surprisingly large percentage (maybe 3-5 percent), but the people paying them have an authoritarian monopoly on communication so it would be hard to whistleblow. They typically have anon like accounts with generic hobbies. Same person might run a few of them.
