:marseysigh: So nobody answered correctly @ my literature question last night, as promised I'm following up with the answer. :marseyreading:

The Wheel of Time.

4.4 million words of a cohesive continuous story in native english.

Maybe I should have been more specific in saying that "fan-fic" doesn't count, but I thought that was insinuated with "cohesive"

Lmao I was going to guess that but it seemed too self-centered

I used to have all of them in hardback, but an unfortunate housefire consumed my pre-digital library. Have bought and given away or wore out many copies.

An Aes Sedai never lies, but the truth she speaks, may not be the truth you think you hear.

edit: do you have any favorite parts, or characters? Mine would be Cadsuane as my favorite character in all of fiction, Lan killing Damandred and Rand's realizing in the Final Battle the Great Duality.

I could essaypost about wot all day and night lmao

Egwene is hands down the best character ever written though. Her entire arc, start to finish, is just absolute perfection. Sanderson didn’t even manage to ruin her and I’m assuming that’s because her posthumous parts were largely written by RJ.

I’m actually about to start reread #20+, wanna get it finished again before Amazon butchers it with the show next month.
