Well this isnt directly on topic but im going to go ahead and share my own opinion. Canadian right wingers are actually a lot worse than American right wingers. Theyre more likely to be racist because they have no national origin story and if you read Elliott Page's memior, theyre extremely homophobic and their white people jump people. Elliott shares an anecdote about how he tried coming out to his mom as a lesbian, and his mom said, "THAT DOESN'T EXIST" and shut down the conversation. Is it any wonder that he decided that he must be a man?
The only reason their government is more left wing than ours is because they dont have a system that gives disproportionate levels of voting power to rural people like we do in America.
