The villain has larger goals which Bond successfully stops.

I already said this to Carp, if M had died taking out a badass villain who wanted to end the world, that would have been fine by me.

In Skyfall the villain's entire goal is to kill M. He succeeds at this completely. Bond then kills him, which doesn't matter because he was already suicidal. It's pathetic.

I have absolutely no idea what the villain’s motivations or goal was in the new Bond movie.

Dr. Evil was a parody of classic Bond villains, yes.

Where in the movie did Freddy Mercury say that his goal was to wipe out all life on Earth?

I remember like that one shot of a simulation showing what would happen if it were released on Europe, but was the goal to wipe out everyone? Some people? Almost all the people? And for why? To what end?

Movies are supposed to say these things because that’s how stories work.

Total shit. Die Another Day-tier Moonraker-butt cartoon Bond movie.
