On top of my spinal cord injury, I also acquired a brain injury which damaged the optic nerve in my brain, amplifying my hearing. I can hear whispered conversations clearly from a long way away, which makes eavesdropping easy.

She's a foid so this doesn't even really work. It's not exactly rocket science to imagine how that would work once she's out the chair. I assume they're more confused as to whether she's feeling any of it. Also, she's in a literal wheelchair. She could have had frick you money and been dating an Adonis but I bet many people would still choose to be broke, single but walking.
